Girl found hanging in school washroom in Gurgaon

A class XII student allegedly committed suicide here by hanging herself in the school washroom after being scolded by a teacher, police said.
The girl was found hanging from an exhaust fan in the washroom of Rotary Public School here yesterday, Gurgaon Police Commissioner Alok Mittal said.
She allegedly took the extreme step after being scolded by her class teacher for using mobile phone in the school premises.
The teacher reportedly told the victim that she would speak to her parents about the incident as she violated the norms of the institution.
No suicide note was recovered from her possession. Police is further investigating the issue, Mittal said.
