The girl was allegedly gang-raped in Churrasakatpur village of Bisalpur area Wednesday night and the case was registered today after the victim met a senior police official and threatened to end her life.
The girl alleged in a complaint that whe was with her sister-in-law when some youths barged into their house and raped her.
As they raised an alarm, villagers rushed to their help and chased the fleeing accused.
One of the accused opened fire on the villagers, however, it hit one among them. Rajabuddin got injured and was later handed over to the police.
Today, the victim and her family met Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Uday Shankar Singh and narrated the incident. The girl also threatened to end her life if the accused were not booked.
Later, on the directions of the ASP a case was registered against two named and some unidentified persons.
The ASP said that further action will be taken after a proper probe and if the policemen were found guilty action would be taken against them.
