The BJP in Goa will connect with religious heads of various communities as part of its "Jan Sampark Abhiyan" to brief them about the developmental work done by the Narendra Modi-led government, a senior party leader said.
The BJP's state general secretary Sadanand Tanavade today said that the party would meet the Archbishop of Goa as well as Hindu and Muslim religious authorities during the Jan Sampark Abhiyan from May 26 to June 11 to commemorate four years of the Modi government.
He said that several functions would be organised as part of this campaign in north and south Goa.
"During the event, we will also be interacting with over 7,000 people from the Schedule Tribe and Schedule Caste communities to enlighten them about the various schemes introduced by the Modi government for their welfare," he said.
