The top cop had told media earlier this week Goa is "ill-equipped" to handle terror attacks due to lack of funds.
Mohan had claimed several requisitions for weapons have been pending with the government due to lack of finance.
The Punjab Police had recently issued a terror alert that three heavily-armed Pakistani terrorists, who might be suicide bombers, could have entered Punjab and they may target Delhi, Goa, and Mumbai.
Questioning the timing of Mohan's statement, he said, "Why did he not say the same when he was serving the Goa Police for two years?"
The CM also expressed is unhappiness over leakage of information to the media about terror advisories.
"I must tell you, it is not a good thing that such information which comes to me and is sent down the line is leaked to the media," Parsekar said.
