The Goa Assembly will have a half hour discussion on Wednesday on the issues between tourist taxi operators and the app-based, government-backed 'Goa Miles' cab service, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said.
He had chaired a meeting of the two groups on Monday.
Tourist taxi drivers have been opposing Goa Miles, backed by the Goa Tourism Development Corporation, and have been demanding that it be scrapped.
Meanwhile, NCP MLA Churchill Alemao, who is supporting the tourist taxi segment, said Goa Miles might shift from the state on its own once after a solution is found for the issues between the two sets of operators.
"Once we find a solution on the floor of the House, Goa Miles will automatically move out of Goa," Alemao said. without divulging details.
