"All citizens are requested to co-operate with law enforcing agencies and report any suspicious activities or suspicious baggage/article to authorities immediately," Goa Police said in a press release issued today.
"The identity of the person providing information would be kept secret," it said.
It asked people not to believe in rumours or spread them.
"Police are committed to provide safety and security to citizens and therefore seek their co-operation in achieving the objective," the advisory said.

"They are also advised not to leave their personal baggage or vehicles unattended at any place for long," it added.
