This is the first formal visit of the Army Commander to Spear Corps Zone after taking over Eastern Command, a release issued by PRO (Defence) Emron Musavi said here today.
During his three-day visit, Rai will visit various units and formations for familiarisation and interaction with troops and commanders at all levels of Spear Corps.
The Army Commander called on Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio at Kohima yesterday and discussed security related issues of the state, Musavi said.
