Releasing the wall calendar here, Information and Broadcasting minister Manish Tewari said it was to ensure that the awareness of the flagship schemes reached the doorstep of the every citizen especially as the objective was to showcase 'Haq' (rights) for the common man.
He added that the people residing in rural areas always have the passion for wall calendars.
The theme of the calendar, brought out by Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity is 'Bharat Nirman- Sabka hitt, Sabka Haq'.
The Right of Children to free and compulsory Education, 2009 is depicted in the month of June while Scheduled Tribes and Other Forest Traditional Dwellers Act 2006 forms the depiction for July.
August presents the journey of Metro Rail while September month page in the calendar is dedicated to 'Connecting India' which is about the progress made in tele-communication.
