"I am deeply saddened on the demise of (ex-serviceman) Ram Kishan Grewal who committed suicide against inaction of the Government, and I convey my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family," he said.
The JD(U) leader observed that not only ex-servicemen, but people in general including farmers, were feeling "helpless and unsecured" in the regime of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"Not only this person (the ex-serviceman) but when I meet general public daily at my residence in Delhi, and whenever I tour outside Delhi, people show their displeasure and unhappiness, especially the middle and poor class of the country," he said.
70-year-old Grewal allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison over the issue of OROP here last evening.
