Gram and its dal prices rose further up to Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on tight supplies from producing belts against increased demand from retailers.
However, other pulses after moving in a narrow range in scattered deals, settled at previous levels.
Traders said tight supplies from producing regions amid expectations of lower output supported the upside in gram and its dal prices.
In the national capital, gram edged up to Rs 3,500-4,250 against last close of Rs 3,500-4,225 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality also added another Rs 50 each to Rs 3,950-4,150 and Rs 4,050-4,350 per quintal respectively.
