Twelve boys had formed a gang and used to rob shops and houses, the police said adding laptops, computers, LCDs, home theatres, inverters, inverter batteries, eight motor bikes, gold and silver ornaments, Himan pistol (mark3), gas cylinders, seven mobiles, costly shoes, sarees and shirts were recovered from them.
The boys were involved in the thefts for sometime now and a case was registered against them in Kalimela, Mathili, Motu and Padia police stations.
Malkangiri S P Mitrabhanu Mohapatra and SDPO Sanjib Sampat told a press conference here that the twelve boys have been forwarded to court.
