Gram pradhan, associate held for thrashing taxi driver in UP

A gram pradhan of Hussainpur and his associate were arrested for allegedly thrashing a taxi driver in Budhana town in the district, police said today.

The two, including gram pradhan Shahnawaz, were arrested yesterday, a police official said.

A case was registered against them for beating up the taxi driver, he said.
