In futures, castorseeds witnessed speculative selling following subdued export enquiries.
In the edible segment, groundnutoil dropped by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 1,240 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 1,250. Refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 616 per 10 kg.
Turning to non-edible segment, Castorseeds bold moved up Rs 20 per 100 kg to Rs 3,885 as against Rs 3,865 and castor oil commercial gained by Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 807 from Rs 803 previously. Linseed oil held unaltered at Rs 835 per 10 kg.
Turning to futures, castorseed September contract resumed lower at Rs 3,978 and declined further to close at Rs 3,912 from Rs 4,020 previously, showing a fall of Rs 108 per tonne.
