At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, guarseed for delivery in far-month November copntracts rose Rs 11, or 0.29 per cent to Rs 3,785 per quintal, with an open interest of 9,960 lots.
Also, most-active, delivery in October molnth contracts was up by Rs 7, or 0.19 per cent to Rs 3,751 per quintal, persisting an open interest of 99,080 lots.
Marketmen said fresh positions created by speuclators at prevailing levelsamid a firm trend at the physical market, led to recovery in guarseed prices at futures trade here.
