Guinness record holder attempts in new records in martial arts

A Navi Mumbai resident here attempted three records in Martial Arts seeking to enter the Guinness and Limca Books by performing most number of 'Alternate Squat Thrust', most number of 'One leg martial arts kicks at face level' and maximum squats, all in a minute.
B B Nayak, 50, who attempted the records at Airoli Gurudwara Hall yesterday, said he surpassed the existing best of maximum number of alternate squat thrust 68 in a minute by completing 71 alternate squat thrust. The existing record is registered in Guinness World Records.
He performed 252 one leg martial arts kicks, against the previous record of 128 in a minute, which is a Guinness book record. His third record was accomplished by doing a maximum of 75 squat in a minute, breaking the existing record of 67, which is recorded in Limca Book.
Nayak on the occasion said he has applied for both Guinness and Limca Book of Records.
A commando trainer by profession, Nayak already holds seven Guinness and 12 Limca records in physical endurance, fitness, gymnastics and martial arts.
