In the run-up to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Gujarat BJP on Thursday appointed three-member in-charge teams for each of the 26 constituencies in the state.
State BJP chief Jitu Vaghani made the appointments, a party release said.
The BJP had won all Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat in 2014.
However, in the 2017 state elections, the party won 99 out of the 182 seats in the Gujarat Assembly, managing to retain power by a thin majority.
"These in-charge teams will work hard to retain all 26 seats. We will work as a team under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah," Vaghani told reporters.
