"... Decided to delist the shares of the Corporation from National Stock Exchange (NSE), the reason being no trading of shares of the Corporation is reported from NSE for more than a decade," GSFC said in a filing to the BSE.
The company said the continued listing with the NSE does not provide any significant tangible advantage to the members of the Corporation or investors at large.
"The Corporation is in the process of making an application for delisting of the equity shares from NSE," it added.
The company's shares today closed 4.84 per cent down at Rs 2.75 apiece on the BSE.
