Gur prices end steady on little doing

In listless trading, gur prices showed a steady trend at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today.
Marketmen said scattered buying by retailers and stockists due to off season amid supplies from manufacturing belts, largely held gur prices at the previous levels.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,900-4,000, pedi Rs 4,100-4,200, dhayya Rs 4,100-4,200 and shakkar Rs 4,300-4,400.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 3,400-3,450, chakku Rs 3,500-3,600, khurpa Rs 2,925-2,950 and Ladoo Rs 3,000-3,050.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,800-3,900 and dhayya Rs 3,150-3,175.
