Gur prices declined by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale market in the national capital today following weak demand amid increased supplies.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also dropped up to Rs 100 per quintal on mounting of stocks amid faded demand.
Marketmen said mounting stocks on steady inflow of arrivals from manufacturing belts along with slackness in demand, mainly dragged down gur prices.

At Muzaffarnagar, gur Chakku and Khurpa prices dropped from Rs 2,950-3,050 and Rs 2,825-2,850 to Rs 2,875-3,000 and Rs 2,750-2,775 per quintal.
Gur Raskat prices also slides by Rs 50 to conclude at Rs 2,550-2,600 per quintal on reduced offtake by beer makers.
