Quiet conditions persisted at the wholesale jaggery market today as prices ended at previous levels after moving both ways on selective buying or selling.
On the other hand, gur Chakku and Ladoo prices fell by Rs 50 per quintal in Muzaffarnagar on increased supplies of new gur in the market.
Marketmen said persistent arrivals from manufacturing areas mainly pulled down gur chakku and laddo prices in Muzaffarnagar.
In Muzaffarnagar, gur Chakkku prices were down by Rs 50 to settle at Rs 2,200-2,450 per quintal.
