He was 81.
Darogha breathed his last at about 12.30 am at his residence in Seraikela, they said.

Darogha was awarded Padma Shri in 2011 for his outstanding contribution for the promotion of Seraikela form of Chhau dance.
His son Deepak said: "My father used to train disciples across Kolhan region, particularly in West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharswan. He trained over 150 foreigners."
Darogha had also won laurels with his impressive performances abroad, including at Paris, Belgium and Nepal.
People from all walks of life took part in large numbers in the funeral procession of Darogha, who was cremated in Seraikela.
