"It is an internal and party affair and there is no rift in the party," Bansal said while talking to the media here.
Hans yesterday caused embarrassment to the party when he disrupted the Dalit meet at Nyagaon near Chandigarh after he complained that Congress did not give fair representation to 'Valmikis'.
Bansal, former MP from Chandigarh while hitting out at AAP, said it can never fight with Congress as AAP has no mass base.
Former railway minister Bansal, accompanied by senior Congress leader and former Sangrur MP Vijayinder Singla met local residents and Congress workers in presence of Fatehgarh Sahib MLA Kuljit Singh Nagra.
Talking to mediapersons, senior Congress leaders said they visited the urban areas as the party has constituted a special committee for urban issues to get feedback from people.
