Har govt seeks report on chain snatching incidents

Haryana government today sought report from police on incidents of chain snatching in Gurgaon.
Transport Minister Aftab Ahmed sought to know as to how many incidents of chain snatching occurred and how many culprits involved in those snatching incidents have been arrested in district Gurgaon, an official release said here.
Ahmed made these directions during monthly meeting of District Grievances Committee in Gurgaon.
He also directed the Gurgaon municipal corporation authorities to conduct a study as to at how many places in MCG area the private developers were required to construct community centers as per the terms and conditions and how many they have constructed.

The Minister also ordered to constitute a fact finding five-member-committee headed by district town planner (enforcement) which will check as to what facilities the developer was required to provide to residents and what they were providing presently.
