Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said he wouldinteract with people of the state every month on a new forum 'Yet Another Reform' as his government enters its fourth year.
He made the announcement while interacting with media persons at a function here to mark the completion of three years of his government.
The chief minister also launched a pension scheme for scribes on the occasion.
"We areformulating a new scheme under which a new reform would be rolled out every month, and the people would be apprised of its benefits," he said.
Khattar said when he took over the reins of the state three years ago, there was rampant corruption and the law and order situation was deteriorating.
"Today, the opposition parties in the state have no issues to rake up, and are just raising petty issues to serve their vested interests," he said.
As a result of the efforts made by the BJP-led state government, the Supreme Court gave a verdict in favour of Haryana on the Sutlej Yamuna Link Canal issue, he said.
The present government has also restarted the purchase of 'bajra' which had been discontinued by the previous government for three consecutive years, he said.
While referring to the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna (PMFBY) launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the chief minister said even though the farmers were in favour of the scheme and the Swaminathan Commission Report also suggested that there should beinsurance cover for the farmers' crops, the opposition parties opposed it for the sake of it.
He added that as many as 4,150 announcements had been made on various development works in the state during the last three years, out of which the projects mentioned in the 2,500 announcements had either been completed or are in progress.
