A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the state cabinet, presided over by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar here today, an official spokesman said.
The cabinet decided "to constitute a sub-committee to look into all aspects of giving employment to outstanding sportspersons under sports quota in the State".
The spokesman said the decision to constitute the sub-committee was taken to prevent any discrimination with the outstanding sportspersons and check delays.
State Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Anil Vij will be the chairman of the sub-committee while the other members included Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Om Prakash Dhankar, Additional Chief Secretary, Sports and Youth Affairs KK Khandelwal and Additional Chief Secretary, Home, Ram Niwas.
