"Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has given financial assistance of Rs 2.50 lakh to the noted actor Satish Kaul for his treatment and also wished him speedy recovery," said an official release issued here today.
Kaul, who acted both in Hindi and Punjabi movies, was hospitalised following his fractured hip bone and right leg.
Kaul, who was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Rajpura in Punjab was finding it difficult to afford his medical expenses.
The 60-year-old actor had acted in several Hindi and Punjabi films. Among Hindi movies, he played roles in Karma, Ram Lakhan, Bandh Darwaja, Dance Dance, Khooni Mahal, Ilzam.
