DUSIB has made the submission in an affidavit placed before a bench of Chief Justice G Rohini and Justice Rajiv Sahai Endlaw which had in April this year sought the Board's response regarding the status of night shelters in Delhi.
The bench said it will go through the reports filed by DUSIB and Delhi Police and will see if they are in compliance of the court's orders.
DUSIB also submitted DDA has alloted seven plots for constructing permanent night shelters as per Master Plan Delhi 2021 and the Board has taken possession of three by depositing the requisite amount with the authority and has built a night shelter in one of the three plots at Avantika.
It also claimed to have constructed a night shelter at Sultanpuri which is meant for disabled persons.
Meanwhile, Delhi Police said the two systems of finger printing being operated by it are not in any way violating the Identification of Prisoners Act, 1920.
The reply was filed in response to the high court seeking a report on the subject of Computerized Remote Identification of Suspects (CRIS) system with its impact on Identification of Prisoners Act.
