Justice T S Sivagnanam, before whom a petition by Chennai District Treasurer of the Kazhagam, Dilipan has come up, directed the police authorities to consider the petitioner's application submitted on January 21 for grant of permission and pass appropriate orders by tomorrow by permitting the procession.
The Judge also directed the petitioners to reduce the length of the procession route by about 1.5 kms and recorded the undertaking given by the organization that no untoward incident will occur, public disturbance will not be caused, no shouting of slogans and no loud speakers will be used.
