The First Bench comprising Chief Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Justice T S Sivagnanam on petition filed by the institution, asked The Fee Fixation Committee to re-examine the case and said the exercise should be carried out within two months.
The Institution submitted the documents to the Fee Fixation Committee to determine Rs 15,00,000 per student per year for the students studying the MBBS course.
The Committee has uniformly fixed Rs 2,30,000 per student per year, which was challenged by the college in the court.
It was further submitted that the expenditures such as capital expenditure, expenditure to run hospital, transport, depreciation and advertisements were disallowed by the committee.
The bench which disposed of the petition directed the fee fixation committee to re-examine the case of the college.
