Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said the Supreme Court has given two months time to the Punjab and Haryana High Court to make public the report of the Justice Dhingra Commission, which relates to alleged irregularities in land deals, including some linked toCongressPresident Rahul Gandhi's brother-in-lawRobert Vadra.

"The Supreme Court has given two months time to the high court to make public the report of Justice Dhingra Commission and this time period will be over in the next ten days.

"Thereafter, the court will take a decision and make the report public," Khattar said at a function here today, according to an official release.

The release quoting Khattar said that media, people and the present state government had highlighted the alleged wrong doings of the former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Vadra which made the people turn against the Congress and gave the BJP the mandate to form government in Haryana.

The one-man Justice Dhingra commission, which had given its inquiry report to theHaryanagovernmentin August 2016, had probed the alleged irregularities in granting of licences to developers in four villages of Gurgaon by the previous government.

The chief minister said various "scams" belonging to the Congress tenure have been unearthed.

"Some scams committed during the Congress regime are now coming to light through the Supreme Court and the high court," he claimed.

Referring to corruption during the Congress rule, he said the Change of Land Use system was started in 1990 and the power to grant CLU rested with the Director, Town and Country Planning Department. But later the system was changed and all CLU-related matters were sent to the chief minister, Khattar said.

Efforts were made in 1996, 2001 and 2006 to change this system, but it was finally changed in 2016 by his government and the power togrant CLU is back with the Director, Town and Country Planning Department, he said.

The chief minister said his government is being accused of working with a feeling of revenge, but it was not true.

"Those who are guilty are still guilty. The priority of the state government is only development and progress of the state," he added.

"We are working to change the system. What could not be done in Haryana in the last 48 years is being done by the present state government and the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The state government has put a check on corruption," he said.

Khattar said soon after coming to power, his government started working to bring about transparency in the system. The GDP growth rate of Haryana is more than that of the country.

The construction work on national highways has been carried out and work resumed on stalled projects, while a railway line from Jind to Sonipat has also been laid by his government, he said.

Khattar also said that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has played a great role in bringing "good people" into politics.

"I have to do good to people of my fraternity. Earlier people with maligned image were in politics, but now people with clean image are getting into politics. If people from the RSS come into politics, why there should be any issue," he said.
