The first bench comprising Chief Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul and Justice R Mahadevan granted the time after the government sought time to complete the deficiencies pointed out by the Advococate Commissioners.
The High Court had on February 26, directed the Commission members P T Asha and P Sunder to visit the library to verify the factual position on the alleged deficiencies in the Rs 179 crore library and submit a report on a PIL by one S T Manonmani.
The AIADMK government had proposed to convert the library, built by the previous DMK regime, into a Super Specialty Hospital for children.
