HC stays SDM's eviction order against women

Justice Rajiv Shakdher also asked Delhi government and the city police to file their responses by March 5.

The court was hearing a petition filed by some women residing in various residential premises at Paharganj here challenging the decision of the SDM asking the local police to get the premises vacated within a week as some minors girls, who were allegedly forced into prostitution, were rescued from those places.

The women, however, claimed that so far, no case has been lodged against them for indulging in prostitution.
