"The minister's condition is stable but will be on ventilator for some more days," he told reporters here after attending to Ambareesh's condition at Vikram hospital here.
Dr Guleria flew down to Bangalore on the request from Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad after Karnataka Home Minister K J George got in touch with him.
Family members of Ambareesh earlier were in talks with doctors to shift him to Singapore for better treatment, Hospital Media Coordinator Abdul Hafeez told PTI.
The 61-year-old leader was admitted to the hospital on February 21 after he complained of breathlessness.
Presently, he is on ventilator and other medical support measures, Hafeez said.
