Heavy rains in 3 districts of Rajasthan

Heavy rains today hit normal life in Rajasthan's Karauli, Sawaimadhopur and Alwar districts even as the western region reeled under heat wave conditions.
Sikray recorded 5 cm rainfall, followed by Sapotra 4 cm, Gangapur 3 cm and Rajgarh and Hindon 2 cm each.
Churu at maximum 43.4 deg C was the hottest in the state, followed by Sriganganagar at 40.5 deg C.
