The local MeT office predicted rains and thundershowers at a few places in lower, mid and higher hills during next six days but uniform rains eluded the region and some areas had moderate to heavy rains.
Pandoh received the highest rainfall in the region with 79 mm rains, while Gaggal recorded 78 mm of rains followed by Nagrota Suriyan 37 mm, Guler 31mm, Dharamshala andGhamroor 27 mm, Mandi and Bangana 18 mm, Jubbarhatti 17 mm, Sundernagar and Una 8 mm, Jhanjehli and Khadrala 7 mm, Mashobra 6 mm and Kheri 5 mm.
The minimum temperatures remained steady and Manali, Kalpa and Keylong recorded a low of 13, 13.1 and 15 degrees followed by Dharamsala 16.2 and Shimla 16.9.
So far, the monsoon has been normal in the region and the state received 157.8 mm rains against normal rainfall of 166.4 mm, a deficit of five percent.
