Hero MotoCorp sales rise marginally in November

Company recorded 11% growth over the corresponding period last year

Country's largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp today reported a marginal increase in sales at 5,50,731 units in November.

The company had sold 5,47,413 units in the same month last year, Hero MotoCorp said in a statement.

During the month, the company said it achieved the landmark of one million unit sales during the 35-day festive period starting with the Navratras, 11% growth over the corresponding period last year.

The sales were mainly driven by demand for the new scooters, Maestro Edge and Duet and the new motorcycle Splendor PRO, along with Passion PRO and Glamour bikes, it added.
