Heroin worth Rs one crore seized

Additional Commissioner (Customs) Jyotiraditya said the customs sleuts acting on a tip off raided a courier company office and seized the haul of the contraband substance.

They also arrested two contraband smugglers in this connection and seized a pistol, two ammunitions, a four-wheeler, three mobile phones and other materials from their possession, he said.

The two were interrogated by the customs officials about their connection with international contraband smuggling racket, Jyotiraditya said.
