Hillary Clinton is reportedly earning a whopping USD 200,000 per speech, nearly six months after she stepped down as US Secretary of State.
Hillary, 65, is earning USD 200,000 a night in the lucrative world of professional speech-making, according to the Washington Post.
Clinton hit the circuit a few months after leaving office this year amid speculation that she might pursue a run for the White House in 2016.
Her first speech, the National Multi-Housing Council in Dallas in April, was delivered around the same time that fellow possible 2016 candidate Jeb Bush was giving a speech in Dallas, US media reports said.
Election ethics laws prohibit politicians in office from giving paid speeches, but it's fairly common for those out of office.
Hillary's husband and former president Bill Clinton has racked up over USD 100 million in speech fees, according to the New York Times.
It is reported that he received USD 700,000 from just one event in Nigeria last year, bringing his annual earnings from speech to USD 17 million in 2012.
