Himatsingka Seide Q1 Net up 93% at Rs 40.79 cr

Home textiles firm Himatsingka Seide today reported a 93.22 per cent increase in Net profit at Rs 40.79 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2015, against Rs 21.11 crore during the same period in the previous fiscal.
Himatsingka Seide's Net sales stood at Rs 450.78 crore in the quarter under review, down 8.72 per cent compared with Rs 493.89 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
During the quarter, its expenses stood at Rs 404.43 crore as against Rs 459.63 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, down 12 per cent.
Shares of Himatsingka Seide closed at Rs 136.90 apiece, up 15.33 per cent from its previous close on the BSE.
