At present 'Dharma Darshan and Special Darshan' system is followed in almost all the big temples in Tamil Nadu. Such special darshan system (payment darashan) should be abolished, the Munnani said in a pamphlet released during the demonstration.
Munnani State Vice President K Poosappan led the demonstration at Veerappanchatram.
Among other demands, the Munnani wanted the government to collect all arrears and not to lease temple property on long term basis.
