HMT calls ex-workers of Ranibagh plant to settle wage dispute

HMT Watches Ltd has asked all its former employees of its Ranibagh unit, who left in March 1999 or after that, to report to the HR department of the company in Nainital to settle the 1992 wage dispute.
The arrears are being settled as part of a countrywide arrangement arrangement between the company's management and employees' associations, an HMT official said.
HMT Watches Ltd, Watch Factory-V, Ranibagh is settling the 1992 wage arrears of all itsex-employees who separated in or after March 1999, a communication from the company said here.
All eligibleex-employees are required to contact HR Department of HMT WatchesLtd, Watch Factory-V Ranibagh to submit their claims along withproofs of their identity and residential address on or before September 30, it said.

The unit is the company's lone unit in Uttarakhandlocated at Ranibagh in Nainital district.
