Property portal Housing.Com has joined hands with real estate brokerage network RE/MAX to leverage listings and offer end to end solutions to home buyers.
As per the tie-up, RE/MAX will list its inventory on Housing.Com while the property portal will give technological expertise.
"...With our superior technology and their expertise in service, the partnership is bound to be a great success," Housing.Com iCEO and COO Rishabh Gupta said in a statement.
RE/MAX has presence in almost 100 countries, having more than 6,500 offices and 100,000 real estate agents.
"Through our almost 100 franchises across over 30 cities (in India) with almost 5,000 verified exclusive properties our numbers can grow exponential with the strengthening of technology by simply empowering our affiliates with consumer and broker enquiries," RE/MAX India Founder and Chairman Sam Chopra said.
The statement further said, this relationship will provide an end to end solution to the home buyers with a seamless online real estate platform to facilitate and guide them through the process of home search and identification all the way till they have completely executed the real estate transaction.
Housing.Com, a real estate listing and advertising platform has more than 2,551 employees in over 100 cities across India.
Founded by 12 IITians in June 2012, Housing.Com has so far raised over USD 100 million, including USD 90 million through private equity infusion from SoftBank Group along with Falcon Edge and other existing investors.
Within two years of its founding, the company expanded from its original rent and resale proposition to include PGs and hostels, serviced apartments, land, plot projects and new projects.
