During the raids, 56 cases of electricity theft were detected and 11 doctors were found practicing without documents, Inspector General of Police, CID, Anil Kumar Rao said here today.
He said that the drive was conducted to check the manufacture of adulterated and spurious products, illicit liquor and against those indulging in other unauthorised acts.
Rao said that during the raids, adulterated ghee, palm, mustard and soya oil with an estimated value of Rs 7.50 crore was recovered and 515 LPG cylinders were seized.
He said that 255 vehicles were impounded. One government employee was also arrested and FIRs have been lodged against 14 others, he said.
