Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) has appointed nine of its top officers to act as 'relationship managers' for investors keen to set up business in the state.
"These relationship managers would be responsible for hand-holding the potential investors in terms of finding the locations for their plants, helping them obtain various clearances from HSIIDC and from other departments," Haryana's Finance, Industries and Commerce Minister Captain Abhimanyu said here today.
He said these relationship managers would be responsible for guiding them to obtain necessary permissions and clearances from the central government as well.
HSIIDC Managing Director Sudhir Rajpal said the relationship managers have been assigned various sectors such as agriculture, higher education, electronics and information technology, aviation and industry, among others.
The minister said that Haryana is also organising roadshows in various metro cities to attract investments.
"The curtain raiser and the first road show was held in New Delhi in December 2015 and the second road show was organised in Kolkata in January 2016. Now, the remaining roadshows will be organised in Chennai, Mumbai and Bengaluru in the coming days," he said.
He said these roadshows will be followed by the 'Happening Haryana Global Investors Summit-2016', to be held in Gurgaon on March 7-8.
