Human trafficking racket busted in Raj, 5 minor girls rescued

The Rajasthan police today claimed to have busted a human trafficking racket operating in the area and rescued five minor girls from Ghas Mandi here.
All the girls are aged between 7 to 11 years.
The police has arrested five women from the area who earlier posed as mothers of these girls but after sustained interrogation, revealed the truth.
According to the police, when these women were grilled, they confessed that the girls were brought from different cities across the country, only to be pushed in sex trade.
"The women admitted that many persons (trafficking agents) were associated with this racket, who purchased the girls from the kidnappers and then sold them here," said a police official, adding the girls are not able to tell about their families or native places properly.

The police is trying to rehabilitate them, in order to get them speak.
"Presently, all these girls are terrorised and traumatised. We will give them some time and then enquire from them about their parents and how they fell in the trap of this racket," said the official.
Ghas Mandi area is infamous for flesh trade and the police has been raiding the area repeatedly but the human trafficking business continues to flourish here.
