Husband kills man for trying to rape wife

One person was axed to death by a man after he allegedly tried to rape his wife at Tantnagar in West Singhbhum district, police today said.
The incident occurred on Tuesday when Chocolate Pachari barged into the house of the woman and tried to rape her. The woman's husband, Vipin Pachari, picked up an axe and killed him on the spot.
Vipin had confessed his crime, police said.
All the three persons - Vipin, his wife and the accused - were residents of the same village and were known to one another, they said, adding the couple has been arrested.
