The incident took place around 9.30 AM when the vehicle turned over after hitting the pole, they said.
Rajesh Anand along with his wife Laxmi and son Mohit, residents of Govindnagar in Kotdwar, were killed in the accident while his daughter, Monika, was seriously injured, police said, adding that the family was travelling to Delhi.
