The 23-year-old Delhi girl says she would rather wait for good scripts to come her way than sign projects in a hurry.
"I am in a really happy space. The kind of response I have received from the industry has been overwhelming. I am in a good space and not in a rush," Sanya told PTI on the sidelines of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2017.
"I won't pick up any random project and start working on it. I have great projects in my hands right now and I am waiting to share it with the world."
"If I am reading a script, the only thing I have in my mind is whether I am creatively excited about it or not. So, it is not like I have done a big film and will be really choosy about my future projects."
The actor is coy about her future projects but hopes to star in a dance film one day.
"I love dancing. I was in the dance society of my college in Delhi University. I couldn't really do anything with dancing in 'Dangal', but I want to do a dance film. I will go crazy if I ever do a dance film."
"It has been a wonderful experience. There were many ups and downs in the beginning. But I never took it to heart. It has been four and a half years. It has been a great journey till now."
Sanya, who made her debut as a showstopper at The Meraki Project show today by designer Sonali Pamnan, enjoyed every second of being on the ramp.
"It was so much fun. I was really excited as I was walking the ramp for the first time for a designer. I was really happy as the clothes are so joyful and comfortable.
