The 32-year-old singer, whose self-titled new album topped the US charts despite no prior promotion, said she tried to shoot the music video for 'XO,' directed by Terry Richardson, without a permit on Coney Island, New York in August, reported Contactmusic.
"If it was my choice, I would never have a permit. I would just get in the car, get a camera, and we'd just shoot, and trust me, we tried," Beyonce said.
"I'm trying to rebel against perfection. It's fun because you never know what's going to happen," she added.
