After the long-drawn battle over the allotment of screens between his "Son of Sardaar" and "Jab Tak Hai Jaan", gossip mills are abuzz that his upcoming Rohit Shetty film "Singham 2" is likely to hit screens next year on Independence Day along with Akshay Kumar's "Gabbar".
"We are thinking about it (release on Independence Day). Let's see what happens as we are yet to begin shooting. I would like to clarify that there is no clash with anyone of us," Ajay told PTI.
The 44-year-old actor insists that he has been fighting for his right and asking only for a fair view on the matter.
"I feel the issue needs to be sorted out and that is why I am in court. It wasn't going to help me alone. By going to court I am spending money not for 'Son of Sardaar' but because I had seen this problem earlier. And I feel this problem is going to multiply and whoever did not believe in it will suffer," Ajay said.
"I have not seen it but I have heard that it has done well. I am happy that its doing very well," he said.
On the second installment of Milan Luthria's "Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai", the actor did not comment much.
"I won't say that the spark was missing from the film. A film depends on lot of things from script to release date to lots of other things. I don't want to comment on this matter," he added.
